Becoming HER: Navigating New Seasons.

Has anyone ever said, “I’m ready for winter storms, cleaning snow off my car and black ice”? Yeah… me neither. I'm sure I've said, “I can’t wait to watch Christmas movies, snuggle on the couch and drink hot chocolate.” But in all honesty, no one is ever truly ready for the cold, uncomfortable parts of winter.
Now, what about our spiritual winters? Those wilderness seasons where it feels like there’s no way out? I know for me, I’m always looking for the first escape. But what if God wants us right there, in a place where He can develop and shape us on His own? In this month’s devotional we will walk through how we can navigate our winter season.
I hope you enjoy!

Father God,
I want to start by thanking you for being a merciful, just, all knowing God. I thank you for loving us past our mess and unbelief. God I want to take the time to thank you for showing us that the wilderness season is needed. I pray as we are going through this season you provide us with the strength and endurance of Christ Jesus. We thank you for never leaving or forsaking us even in the hard times. I pray you keep your children strong as we persevere and continue the race set before us.
Lord you are good! You take pain and you turn it into purpose. I pray that we remember these things as we are going through the hardships of being in this fallen world. God we know there is hope in Jesus and hard times don't last always, your word promises joy comes in the morning.
So, we thank you for your love, guidance, discipline and correction. Lord make us more like Jesus.
Amen,
