Why Christian Community Matters: The Power of Growing Together.

I believe that having a community of like-minded individuals is a true gift. They walk with you through life in ways that are deeply impactful. One of my biggest prayers was for God to send me a community—not just any community, but people who loved Him, who wanted to grow in Him, and who accepted and loved me for who I was and who I was destined to become. God not only answered that prayer, but He placed me in a position where I've created community groups for fellow believers. I do this through hosting a small Bible studies and leading a Life Group.

I wholeheartedly believe that we aren’t meant to do life alone. We are stronger and better when we come together. As the body of Christ, we are interconnected, and when we walk alongside each other, we can face challenges with more grace and strength. The beauty of being in community is that it provides a sense of belonging, safety, and accountability. It reminds us that we don’t have to navigate the struggles of life by ourselves.

One of my favorite aspects of being surrounded by fellow believers is the opportunity to share our testimonies and pray for one another. As the Word says, “Where two or three gather in my name, I am there with them” (Matthew 18:20). There's a powerful presence when we come together, lifting each other up in prayer and sharing how God is moving in our lives.

Beyond prayer, we learn from each other's experiences and perspectives. Each person brings something unique to the table, making friendships more joyful and life more fulfilling.

Hosting Bible study and leading a Life Group has not only deepened my relationship with God but also fostered deep, meaningful friendships among the ladies who attend. Together, we dive deeper into scripture, grow in faith, and support each other through life’s ups and downs.

If you're reading this, I encourage you to seek out like-minded friends or join a community where you can grow together. The journey can be difficult, but there's no need to go through it alone. We are truly better together.

It’s crazy how God can use our heart’s desires to bless others. As you sought out community God blessed you to create the very thing you were seeking. My prayer is that people see your example and become the change they want to see. We all have purpose and sometimes the very thing we lack God wants to use us to bring it about not just in our own lives but in the lives of others.
